Overview
A Bede College film student samples public opinion about the corporation buses and captures a day in the life of a hard-pressed public service that had upped its fares. Theres plenty of 70s flavour on the streets of Durham City in this charming documentary short, including a glimpse of a boy on a coveted Raleigh Chopper bike. A rag-and-bone man still plies his trade from a horse-drawn cart as people take to their cars in ever greater numbers and desert the buses.
