Hull - UK City Of Culture 2017
Journey back through a century of life in Hull, as East Yorkshire’s maritime jewel celebrates its landmark year as City of Culture.
The 20th century was a turbulent time for Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire’s long-overlooked maritime jewel on the Humber. Near-annihilation during the Second World War and the decline of the fishing industry presented a major challenge. But Hull is a resilient city, and life goes on - as this collection of films dating as far back as the Victorian era demonstrates.
