Overview
Chivalrous members of Cardiff Amateur Cine Society lay down their newspapers for the ladies as they and their families experiment for fun with different methods of self-propulsion on a day out (possibly days out). They also give beach cricket a go, a camera tripod acting as wicket. Chris Jenkins (1901-90), proprietor of a hair salon in Charles Street, Cardiff, shot this footage which features his children and his wife Beatrice, who closes the film laughing.
