The Swimmer
An elite swimmer competing for a place on the Olympic team encounters intense rivalry and lust during training.
Director: Adam Kalderon
Overview
Erez, an elite swimmer and rising star, arrives at a tough training camp with one aim – to win a fiercely contested place in the national Olympic team. His ambition to be the best blocks any chance of friendship with his fellow athletes. However, when Erez meets star swimmer, Nevo, his focus falters and they form a thrilling and undeniable connection. But the distractions come at a cost... Based on writer/director Adam Kalderon's own experiences as a professional swimmer, this gripping drama is a stylish and sensitively observed study of masculinity and sexuality.
