Johann Sebastian Bach In Euro Deutschland
Do you know your Europeans? This animated overview of Germany with Bach was part of a series on the new European Union
Overview
How do you solve a problem like Germania? Halas & Batchelor’s Know Your Europeans project aimed to gather a series of new animated films together from all the countries of the new European Union. Christophe Simon heralded this German entry, with music playing a prominent part of the whistle-stop tour - from Bach to Kraftwerk. Sadly the project as a whole was not completed, but you can see Bob Godfrey’s contribution The United Kingdom also on the BFI Player.
