Around the Camps
Good morning campers! Explore the delights Butlin's camps have to offer around the UK in this breezy promotional film
Overview
Good morning campers! It's holiday time in this breezy promotional film for Butlin's camps, featuring five locations around the UK: Filey, Skegness, Clacton, Pwllheli and Ayr. Each camp has something special to offer, but holidaymakers at each can enjoy the Butlin's mainstays of sunbathing by the pool, being entertained by Redcoats and, of course, the beauty competition.
Billy Butlin opened his first holiday camp at Skegness in 1932, inviting celebrated pilot Amy Johnson to cut the proverbial ribbon, and the other locations seen in this film followed in the 1940s.
