Overview

At G.H. Hurt and Sons in Chilwell the firm prides itself on its hand made lacewear. Of the eighteen hand frame knitting machines left in working order in the world the firm has fourteen of them. As Henry Hurt explains, this is certainly not an industrial museum but a working factory that produces the best quallity lace known to man.
