All to Play For
A single mother fights to reclaim her children from foster care, in Delphine Deloget's powerful indictment of the French legal system.
Director: Delphine Deloget
Overview
Sylvie lives in Brest with her two children, Sofiane and Jean-Jacques. One night, Sofiane is injured while alone at the apartment. The social services are alerted and the child is placed in a foster home while the investigation is carried out. Convinced that she is the victim of a miscarriage of justice, Sylvie must fight to get her son back... Documentary filmmaker Delphine Deloget's first feature-length fiction film explores the challenges of the French legal and administrative system with finesse and powerful emotional intensity. A social drama exquisitely embodied by Virginie Efira.
