Overview

One of Waters’ most notorious films is Pink Flamingos (1972), a film which legendary critic Roger Ebert famously offered zero stars. With scenes involving chicken sex, a singing orifice and the infamous dog-walking scene, this Citizen Kane of filth movies still has something to offend just about everyone, even 50 years on. The film is presented here in its uncut version (the remastered version prepared for its 25th anniversary) which even today is rarely screened in the UK.

Ranked 211th in the 2022 Sight and Sound Greatest Films of All Time poll.
