Overview

Michael Caine makes a storming return to the action roles of his golden years with this tough and tense urban thriller. As the titular character, he plays a retired marine seeing out his days on a run-down London housing estate, which is becoming plagued by rising gang crime. When one of his friends is killed by hoodlums (one of whom is played by Ben Drew aka Plan B) he decides to take justice into his own hands.

Caine makes an uncannily effective return to such dynamic material, effortlessly dovetailing with a script that marries authentic urban realism with punchy action spectacle.
