Overview

In a seaside guest house a nervous-looking man, Cosmo Vaughan, spins a tall tale of how his fortune-telling led to a fatal train crash. But is Mr Vaughan quite what he seems? This shaggy dog story is based on a tale by celebrated humorist Max Beerbohm and features early performances from Shelagh Fraser (Star Wars Episode IV) and John Le Mesurier (Dad's Army).
