Artificial Intelligence A.I.
A robotic boy longs to become real to regain his mother's love, in this powerful Kubrick project completed by Spielberg.
Director: Steven Spielberg
Overview
In the near future, the world looks very different. The environmental crisis has come, and A.I. is now so lifelike it is almost imperceptible. But for David (Haley Joel Osment), a highly advanced robotic child, that degree of difference is too much. Knowing his android nature makes his mother distant, David longs for a way to make himself truly human.
Originally a Stanley Kubrick project but completed after his death, Steven Spielberg crafts a film that manages to capture an eerily prescient picture of the future, in a film that touches the heart.
