Overview

In 1969 the railway at Hunstanton closed, causing a decline in visits by holidaymakers who now have to travel by bus or car, which takes twice as long. In 1983, another Norfolk holiday town, Sheringham, is at risk of losing its train service with concerns of suffering the same fate as Hunstanton. A Local Action Committee has been set up to emphasise the necessity of the line to Sheringham. Anglia Television reports.
