Overview
The various civil defence groups at Sandiacre in South East Derbyshire show their readiness to bravely do their bit from an ARP station and Red Cross post set up in Ladycross School. Activities around the heavily sandbagged headquarters, including a mock gas and chemical attack, form the centre of this amateur reel shot by local man Ivan Kingsbury. The head of the first aid post, Evelyn Doncaster poses for the camera proudly wearing her uniform.
