Overview

A fellow inhabitant of Rhyl films the artist Robert Evans-Hughes starting work in his studio early one morning and smoking a pipe when he takes a break. Robert [Bob] was born in Llanrwst but emigrated to Australia when young. Seriously injured whilst serving with the Australian army in WWI, he turned to art, studying in Rome and London before returning to Wales and settling in Rhyl where he founded several artists groups and became president of Denbighshire Art Society.
