Phyllis Calvert Home Movies Can 4
Wonderfully intimate home movie shots of British star Phyllis Calvert in Hollywood.
Overview
In the late 1940s, Phyllis Calvert was tempted over to Hollywood by Paramount, where she made two films. David Niven loaned her his house, complete with outdoor pool, and here she can be seen enjoying herself with family and friends including fellow actor Roland Culver. But the sunshine wasn't enough to persuade her to stay and before long she headed back to the UK, where her film and TV career continued to flourish.
