Overview
Reminiscent of the early cinema pioneers who aimed to give everyone the chance of seeing themselves on the big screen, Freddy Morrison of Cleobury Mortimer revived the practice in the late 1930s using the amateur 9.5mm format. His films mix village life with local outings (a trip to see the thrills of the Isle of Man TT) with endearingly basic adverts for local businesses ("Phone Cleobury '6' to book a coach trip").
