Procession in Accrington Park (1900)
Accrington locals parade in their Sunday best.
Overview
These well turned-out locals are clearly enjoying being captured by Mitchell and Kenyon's camera as they parade through Accrington Park, though we don't know what occasion they're marking. A shot of a small child on the grass was no doubt staged by the filmmakers to elicit a tender response from audiences when the film was shown a few days later at local venues.
