Together 99
Members of the beloved 70s commune reunite in the shadow of the new millennium, in Lukas Moodysson’s eagerly anticipated, warm-hearted sequel to Together.
Director: Lukas Moodysson
Overview
It’s 1999. ‘Where the heck did everyone go?’ ask Göran and Klasse, the two remaining members of the idealistic commune. An impromptu reunion brings faces old and new together, as the friends grapple with the gently comic realities of dogma and desire some 24 years down the line. Lukas Moodysson paints a beautifully messy portrait of imperfect people, infused with love, empathy and hope.
