Overview
The drought of 1976. Under the relentless summer sun, Gus’s childhood is coming to an end. Nature is withering, emotions swell up, the family unit bursts: cracks and crannies take over everything until the unthinkable happens. The long-awaited thunderstorms will sweep across the exhausted countryside, taking a whole world with them.
