Overview
British Leyland’s revamped Princess is put through its paces at the Nordo test track in Italy. The new Princess benefitted from a front facelift and a range of new engine sizes designed to improve reliability - and a smaller engine was also offered to keep within new road tax rules. Its reputation today is often less than complimentary but in 1979 the Princess was a real contender in the executive car market.
