Views of St. Albans
Amateur captured scenery 'round and about' St. Albans, including the Abbey, public gardens and winter scapes; picturesque scenes that unintentionally invite nostalgia.

Overview
It's circa 1954 and children play in the street and suburb. The public gardens are in full bloom, and the sun reflects pleasingly on the boating lake as families enjoy the large and green open spaces. With few cars on the roads St. Albans looks inviting and picturesque. Later winter scenes contrast with the spring and summer sunshine, however still pleasing as thick snow builds on the suburban rooftops creating a quaint landscape fit for a seasonal greeting card.
