Overview

Nicely written title cards and crowds of local children bring life to this domestic record of a wedding taking place at St Mary's Church at Arnold in Nottingham on Easter Monday 1934. Filmmaker Thomas Turner is the brother of the bride but he hands his camera over to a trusted friend so he can enjoy, unencumbered, the proud moment when he accompanies his sister into the church. A reception courtesy of the local Co-op completes proceedings.
