Overview

The Royal Bath and West Show showcases rural and farming life attracting large crowds over four days in its now permanent showground at Shepton Mallet. Westward TV's Farming programme interviews farmers and discusses this year's show.

The Show is founded in 1777 in Bath by a group of philanthropists and used to be held on Durdham Down in Bristol and in Bath before it found a permanent home in Shepton Mallet. The large site has a model steam railway and grandstand.
