The South West Film and Television Archive (SWFTA) is the regional film archive for the South West of England. Established in 1993, SWFTA's core collection comprises of the combined programme libraries of Westward Television and TSW (Television South West). The archive also cares for a significant number of donated film collections, both amateur and professional, dating back to the early 1900s.

Overview
Secrets of the Coast episode seven The Princess and the Pirate is presented by broadcaster and naturalist Su Ingle and filmed on the North Cornish Coast. It documents the return of a flock of breeding Peregrine Falcons to Cornwall. The princess peregrine looks after the young eyasses high on the cliff ledge and a raven, the pirate of the piece, moves in next door. The raven lives on scrounged carrion chooses to nest beside the peregrine and her young.
A book ‘Secrets of the Coast’ by Su Ingle was published in 1983 with a foreword by HRH the Prince of Wales. Prince Charles is interviewed on the Duchy of Cornwall and about the importance of the conservation of habitats using the example of the rare Heath Fritillary Butterfly.
