The nimble fingers and flashing feet belong to Nick Olson, BBC Light Programme regular. Entering through stylish batwing doors, nifty Nick - resplendent in white tux - nails two rousing numbers, to rapturous applause.
A well-known cinema organist noted for his dextrous mastery of key and pedal, Nick Olson often performed on BBC radio in the early 1950s, in programmes including Rendezvous with Rhythm. In the mid 1950s, he became the Ryde Pier organist.
