The Pakistan Cricket team is on its second tour of England and is officially known as the Second Pakistanis. The team appears at County Ground Taunton captained by Javed Burki. This two-day match sees Somerset win by an innings and 86 runs. The Pakistan team plays and loses 4-0 with one match drawn in a five-match Test series against England. The Second Pakistanis win only 4, lose 8 and draw 17 of the 29 first-class matches in which they played.

The Pakistan cricket team first tours England in 1954 and the England cricket team tours India, Pakistan and Ceylon from October 1960 to February 1961. Javed Burki went on to become an International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee. Mushtaq Mohammad became one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year owing to his outstanding performance during the tour. Mushtaq Mohammad was a right-handed batsman and a leg-spinner and one of the most successful Pakistani all-rounders. He went on to captain his country in nineteen Test matches. Mushtaq coached the United States cricket team and Pakistan cricket team and became a Pakistani TV cricket commentator.
