Scoring The Epic of Everest
Composer Simon Fisher Turner discusses his acclaimed soundscapes for the glorious The Epic of Everest
Overview
Composer Simon Fisher Turner stunned audiences with his mesmeric and innovative soundscape for The Great White Silence. Now he may have surpassed even that triumph; Epic of Everest's score (out on Mute) was named Mojo magazine's soundtrack of the year. Here, he explains how he set about creating a score to suit Captain John Noel's majestic images. The film comes to DVD and Blu-ray in January.
