Two former presidents of Plaid Cymru, Dafydd Wigley and Gwynfor Evans, present an emotive plea for an independent Welsh state, filmed during the interregnum between the two general elections of 1974.
Following an emotive report by Wigley (then Cymru’s newly elected MP) on how Westminster is failing to tackle Wales’ problems in housing, agriculture, industry and water, the mild-mannered Gwynfor Evans, President of Plaid Cymru, delivers a compelling appeal for self-government.
