Overview
This excellent aerial footage shows a number of bi-planes flying in perfect formation over Hendon in preparation for an air show. A good, steady camera follows the planes – all carrying the RAF roundel - from above and then to one side as they assume a V formation, before flying abreast in a perfect straight line. The air show at Hendon would attract 100,000 spectators in 1925.
