Overview

The Melton Mowbray Toy Soldiers Juvenile Band take centre stage as the Leicestershire town, famous for its pork pies, stops work for a celebration. This 'local topical' appears to be unfinished but its candid depiction of the mayor stiffly staring down into the camera lens in full civic regalia, youthful pearly king and queens preparing to parade and a slightly embarrassed looking Lady Godiva make it a worthwhile discovery.
