Overview
Traditionally, King’s Lynn Mart, a fair – originally a trade fair, now a funfair, opens each year on Valentine’s Day. Following a procession to the town’s magnificent Georgian Tuesday Market Place, and a short speech by the civic leader, the fun begins with the Mayor and Lady Mayoress leading the way with a ceremonial first go on the fair rides, here the dodg’em cars. Anglia TV covers the event including an interview with Mayor Frank Cork.
