Overview
Adventures come in all shapes and sizes, and for many outside the capital a trip to London is always a special event. But in the midst of the Festival of Britain, and with Battersea Park home to the new Pleasure Gardens, this venture out of the post-war everyday becomes a great family milestone to be captured on film. Home released professional footage has been incorporated into the personal scenes like a scrapbook, with the joins not always obvious.
