Overview
Filmed during the Second World War, a blooming Kew Gardens is captured beautifully in colour by an amateur filmmaker, most probably the renowned Rosie Newman. Gorgeous close-ups of vivid blossoms are interspersed with shots of flowerbeds bursting with colour. You can also catch a glimpse of the various attractions and structures dotted around the gardens, including the Palm House, the Japanese Gateway and the bell tower.
