Kegworth Carnival
Carnival day in Kegworth village including steam power to marching bands and all in good weather for once.

Overview
Apart from a hair raising dive into a flaming tank this is a depiction of an archetypal English village carnival. Kegworth is in that part of the East Midlands where Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire all meet. It is near to East Midlands Airport which, in the early 1960s, was still an airfield rather than a major transport hub. All that is in the future though; time to enjoy a less frenetic pace with lots of marching bands and a proud carnival queen.
