Overview

Travelogues, effectively a kind of moving postcard, were a popular form of short filmmaking in the 1910s. Each scene would be announced by a title card - often illustrated. Here we see views of old Chichester including the High Street, Market Cross, the old walls, Lewes Castle, Arundel's market place and the very picturesque coastal village of Bosham.
