Overview
Although titled “East Anglian Amblings”, the film includes footage from in and around Loughton, where Daisy James – wife of amateur film-maker Fred – was leading a weekend course at Debden House, a further education college. Fred James also appears, talking about photography. The rest of the film takes us through Lavenham, Orford, Walberswick and Aldeburgh, with lovely street scenes, a surreal “dream sequence” and lots of coverage of the couple’s Ford Prefect.
