Brunswick Bridge
Bridge building on the busy streets of London as the construction of Brunswick Bridge in Barnet is captured for posterity
From the collection of:
Overview
Recording the construction of the local Brunswick Bridge over a period of time, the filmmaker takes much care to detail each stage of process, as well as the effect on the area – local roads are congested and businesses are blighted by road works. The film also reflects on the changing landscape of the area, with scenes showing the opening of St Michael's Court by the local mayor.
This film is from the collection of Barnet Local Studies and Archives, a member of the London's Screen Archives Network.
