Overview

Shots of the high street in Ilford – with a trendy Mocha coffee shop – feature in this film of an East London wedding day. It’s very windy and the bride’s veil almost escapes as she poses for photographs with groom Alan Raby in front of smiling guests. There are also pre-wedding scenes inside a Becontree house, with the men downing swift pints before the festivities. Taken from the Boulter Family Film archive. Also features an unidentified page boy in Becontree garden.
