Overview

How much is that doggie in the window? - asks a couple about to bring Bonzo into their home. But Bonzo is a bit of a handful, considering he's played by a man called Andy, and his displays of affection cause mayhem in the household. It's not long before the husband and the lodger plot horrible deaths for poor Bonzo. But after a lucky escape, Bonzo manages to save the day, and himself, by predicting the results of the next week's football pools. Now everyone loves a dog called Bonzo.

George Adams, the film maker, played the husband in this quirky film from the 1940s. Other members of the Adams family were drafted in to play other roles while Bonzo, our canine hero, was played by Andy Brown.
