Overview

In the summer of 1973, Sally, child of an upper-class family, disappears when on holiday in Ethiopia, her home country. What comes to light during this insightful documentary is her involvement as an enemy of the state, with the Communist Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Party. Director Tamara Dawit pieces together the story of her aunt's disappearance, simultaneously uncovering a dark period in Ethiopian political history.
