Overview

This short film summarises most aspects of the British equestrian scene - as well as explaining its origins. We start with a children's gymkhana where young riders negotiate a course and attempt some jumps. Then we see riders at Hickstead, demonstrate their skills with hounds followed by carriage racing. Next, jockeys assemble for a point-to-point while Princess Anne, riding Columbus, completes a showjumping circuit. We end with shots of the next generation of riders.
