Overview

Kids from Sheffield learn the importance of dental health in this light-hearted educational film. Throughout the film, a dentist uses a number of visual aids to teach the kids, in addition to those watching the film, how best to look after their teeth. The formality of the lectures eases towards the end when the kids are allowed to practice dental techniques on plastic models and their friends.

In the UK, dentists must train for a minimum of five years, but most continue their studies for a further two years. Dentists are allowed to choose whether they would like to be part of the National Health Service or run their business privately.
