An interview with Al Burnett, the owner of several clubs in Soho and Piccadilly conducted by the broadcaster Bernard Braden. Born in the East End, Burnett had led a picaresque life, working at one time as a bootlegger of booze in New York. Here he talks at length about the peculiarities of Britain's gambling and alcohol licensing laws.
